TCCH Student Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions set out how training with The College of Coaching and Hypnotherapy (TCCH) works. Please read them carefully before enrolling. By booking a place, you agree to these terms.

1. Course Materials & Recording
All course materials, manuals, and resources remain the copyright of TCCH.

You may use them for your own learning and practice with clients once you are trained, but you cannot copy, sell, or republish them.

Recording of training sessions (audio or video) is only allowed with the tutor’s permission.

2. Attendance & Participation
To qualify for your award, you must attend at least 95% of training weekends (unless there are exceptional circumstances agreed with TCCH).

Training is interactive. You will be expected to take part in practical exercises, reflective journals, and group discussions.

3. Practising During Training
You will begin practising techniques with fellow students from the first weekend.

As your training progresses, you may practise with friends, family, and volunteers.

If you choose to work with paying clients, you must have professional liability insurance in place.

4. Working With Children & Young People
You may only work with clients under 18 if you have written parental or guardian consent.

5. Case Studies & Portfolio
To complete your qualification, you must submit the required case studies and portfolio within 6 months of your final training weekend.

Extensions may be considered in exceptional circumstances.

6. Assessment & Awarding of Diploma
Assessment is ongoing throughout the course through observation, feedback, and reflective practice.

Formal assessments include:

A practical observed client session in Month 8

An open-book test (completed at home)

Three written case studies

Your Diploma/Foundation will only be awarded once you have:

Met the attendance requirement

Completed all assessments and case studies

Paid your course fees in full

7. Conduct
We expect students to behave respectfully towards tutors and fellow students at all times.

TCCH reserves the right to remove a student from training if their behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or discriminatory. In such cases, no refund will be given.

Students must also follow the professional codes of ethics set by relevant accrediting bodies (GHSC, CNHC, IHA, BSCH, ACCPH).

8. Payments & Refunds
A £300 deposit secures your place.

Under UK law, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date your place is confirmed. If you cancel within this time, you will receive a full refund.

After 14 days, all fees are non-refundable, whether paid in full or by instalments.

Instalments must continue to be paid even if you leave the course early.

If you cannot continue due to exceptional circumstances, you may defer to the next available intake. Any fees already paid will be carried forward.

9. Course Delivery
TCCH reserves the right to update course content where new research or practice developments make this appropriate.

If a tutor is unavailable, TCCH may appoint a substitute trainer.

If face-to-face training cannot take place (e.g. due to weather, illness, or government restrictions), sessions may be delivered online instead.

10. Cancellation by TCCH
If TCCH has to cancel a course, students will be offered:

An alternative course date, or

A full refund of any fees paid.
